Description
The ARCNET protocol is the ideal solution for applications such as industrial control, building automation, transportation, robotics and gaming. ARCNET is simple to use, low-cost, extremely ruggedand high performing.
The M440R module is based on COM20020 controller from SMSC. integrates the 2Kx8 RAM buffer onchip, the Command Chaining feature, the 5 Mbps maximum data rate and the duplicate node ID detection. The module is available in two configurations: with coaxial connection using a BNC connector, or with twisted-pair connection using a RJ-11 connector.
